Has anyone successfully used gabapentin for pancreatitis? Opioid makes more sense since it’s not neuropathic pain, but I feel like Frosty gets nauseous / totally loses his appetite on buprenex. I was thinking of trying gabapentin tonight since he was it for anxiety. He has the 100 mg capsules and he’s (or at least was) 14 lb.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

Phoebe gets gabapentin for her IBD arthritis pain. There is some anti inflammatory properties as well, I believe. Phoebe gets 100mg in am and 50 in eve. 100 makes her 10 ft tall and bulletproof but she was sleepy on it a few days to begin with. Poor Frosty I hope you can fugue something out.

I’ll try it, why not. We have nothing to lose at this point. Thanks.

Yes, I've used it for pancreatitis pain. It's somewhat sedating but not extreme.
