I took Ginger to the specialty clinic for an ultrasound and tests to see if she has HCM, pancreatitis or hepititis.
She does not have HCM. (I am so glad I took her off the Adontol)
She does not have diabetes as first diagnosed.
All her blood work and urine tests came out real good with everything normal.
The GI Panel results are not in yet, but should be soon.

$1600 and so far, they still find nothing wrong with her.
She is eating now, but very little.
She is "out of sorts" and hiding under bed still and sleeping alot.
She no longer wants to be held, sit on your lap or be petted, which is not her at all.

Out of sorts and not wanting to be fussed with could be the diabetes. I'm not sayng that is the key but it has been mentioned in many stories.

Sending prayers Ginger kitty feels better soon.

    Ginger,

There is a special blood test for pancreatitis if I remember correctly. Was it done? It isn't part of any blood panel that I've come across. Same with the frucosamine test. Do you know if your vet did a frucosamine test?

Hope you get an answer soon.

The specialist said there are no other tests that can be done.

And it cannot be "the diabetes"....
