What is a good and inexpensive monitor that uses less than .5 blood drop. I’m on my last strips for the relion micro that was discontinued.

    Yes they do!!

The Arkray Glucocard01 Sensor is the exact same meter as the Relion Confirm. Arkray manufactured them and WalMart slapped their "Relion" name on them

Not only do those strips work, they are actually the exact same strips. If you look inside your current ReliOn strip box, each strip has "arkray" printed on the front of it. Arkray makes the strips, Walmart just used to slap their name on the outside of the package, but now for some reason Walmart is no longer doing so, so you can only get them from ARE. So the only thing that sucks is that you have to plan in advance to order strips instead of being able to run to Wal-Mart at 2am if you run out :(

But the good part is that even though 100 strips at ADW are $36.10 when they were $35.88 at Wal-Mart, you can always find a coupon here (https://www.retailmenot.com/view/adwdiabetes.com), and the code MISSU10 almost always works to give you 10% off. Also, shipping is free if you order $89. Just make sure you get the Sensor and not the Vital or the Expression. And finally, this: https://www.adwdiabetes.com/product/4045/arkray-glucocard-01-blood-glucose-monitoring-kit is 200 strips plus a meter exactly the same as the Confirm, for the same price as 200 strips. It's always good to have a backup meter, even if you just use it for a free battery replacement for your current Confirm meter.
