Good BG levels?

Hi there,
If you’ve seen this before, sorry about that— I’m trying to figure out how to use the site. So, the Lantus pen I have is still half full, but Im supposed to throw it away after 28 days. A pharmacist friend said that it’s still good, though less potent. Any feedback? Also, what are some food suggestions? I found KIWI and it’s from NZ, no carbs, but 8% fat. She seems to like it. Also, have been thinking to just cook cook my own food. Get some chicken liver, kidneys, etc— is this a good idea? I want to take care of my cat, but just can’t afford all the vet’s suggestions and visits. Miki hates going and I can and have been testing myself with Alpha track.

 

If you keep the pen in the fridge it should be good for at least 6 months or so
