Hello New to the Group and New to Feline Diabetes...

    My close friend Mylisa's cat Charlie Tegan was recently rushed to the er, turned out he had DKA and didn't make it.

    Hi Shawna,

    I'm so sorry to hear that your friend Mylisa has lost her kitty, Charlie Tegan.
    It is very generous of her to want to donate Charlie Tegan's insulin, and it's a lovely tribute to him.

    Condolences to Mylisa and all of Charlie Tegan's friends. RIP Charlie Tegan :rb_icon:

    Beans - please take this sad event as a reminder to test your kitty for ketones when their BG is high. Ketodiastix are easily and cheaply available and could save your kitty's life.
