I've been reading a great deal on this site since my girl Luna was diagnosed in July. This came a few weeks after having lost my sweet boy to feline stomatitis, so needless to say...I was a wreck upon hearing another of my babies was ill.
I'd like to thank everyone for your incredibly helpful and inspiring posts. You've all helped me stay calm and learn so much. With your posts on food choices and proper care, Luna's fructosamine level has gone from 640 to 515 in just a month.
We're on the right path...thank you!!!!!!!

Welcome Sheridan and Luna. Glad she's doing some better! If you have any questions, come over to the health forum and give us some more info on Luna.

It's definitely a marathon. If you are careful with diet, home testing, and proper dosing they can get regulated or even into remission. If we can help please don't be shy to ask for help.
