    Hi
I am here to find support for me and my 15 yo kitty, Junior. Junior has had a rough year. He was diagnosed last June, 2016. In Nov, 2016 he went into remission. However the diabetes caused CKD and now we have that to deal with also. I found this site then and starting home testing but after a couple of months went to a specialist who told me to stop and start over. After 2 weeks, of her advice, it was worse so I started testing again. If I hadn't been I would have not known he had gone into remission and he could have gone hypo. He also developed hyperthyroidism and was successfully treated this summer with radioactive iodine. Anyway, this summer diabetes returned and here we are after many months on quite a roller coaster ride. I am giving Lantus and can't seem to find the right dose. Thanks, Connie

Hi Connie, welcome to you and Junior! I see you have your spreadsheet up and running, that’s great! The Lantus Forum is a great source for dosing info. Post there and someone will help you figure out the best way to help get Junior back into remission!

Thanks! Looks like your kitty was in remission about same time as my Junior.
