    Hello,

I’m Natalie and my husband and I just put an etube in our 13 years old cat Binx. He’s a domestic long Hair. Binx recently stopped eating right before thanksgiving and we rushed him to the vet. She said his liver levels were off the chart and had fatty liver. We tried some antibiotics and appetite stimulant. But no go so we opted for the feeding tube. He’s up to 30ml 4 times a day he’s perking up some but he won’t eat on his own. Today the tube has been in one week.

He WAS diabetic. About two years ago he had diabetes and we were able to give him some insulin, change his diet, and he stopped being diabetic three months later and had been fine ever since.

A week and a half ago he stopped eating and at first we thought it was a relapse but it ended up being his liver.
