Hi everyone. I have two handsome felines in my life and and one of them, my 9-year-old Mau Khamet, was diagnosed with diabetes this past August. I've been pretty trusting of the vet up to this point, but I am starting to feel like he may not know as much as he thinks he does and so I am in the process of research and frustration. We had an incident last night and so I'm moving the remainder of my post over to the main board. Hello from GA!

Hi and welcome! That is a pretty common feeling among people that find their way here.

It's always a good idea to be as informed as possible, whether your vet is good or not. I haven't seen your other post yet, but I fear you are talking about a hypo event...I hope I am wrong and that Khamet is ok.

    Welcome to you from NC!
