So I finally got Nana's nadir into the 100's (I need to update my spreed sheet).

It takes 6 - 7 units of Prozinc to drop her from ~350 to 390(AMPS) to ~150 t0 110 for the nadir.

My vet thinks that's a really high dose and wants to switch her to Lantus.

I'm sure what I should do.

    Thanks

Usually around 6 units, we recommend testing for the high dose conditions. Your spreadsheet leave off in May, and I don't see the data at this dose, so it's hard to say, but I think I would start there and get the testing done, then decide about changing insulin.
