My cat Mr. Pink has diabetes and Stage 2 CKD. He was in Purina DM which kept in diabetic remission but my vet recommended taking him off that because he believes the high protein content caused his CKD. We have struggled to find a prescribed diet which will support both conditions. So as this food is very palatable to him I have been feeding him only the wet. I wrote to the company and asked for a breakdown on values etc. and am adding it below for anyone who wants to know.

You're welcome. So based on those numbers do you think it is a good food for Diabetes and CKD or just the diabetes? I sent it to my vet but her has not commented as yet.

They are definitely okay for diabetes. I don't know a whole lot about CKD, but I do know you want a food that is low in phosphorus; these look pretty low, to me. I know you can also get a phosphorus binder, if your cat's preferred food is too high in phosphorus. Have you seen THIS SITE? It is a wonderful site for all kinds of information on CKD.
