Hometesting--Paw and Fractious Cat

    This is what I found so far going back to look for paw stuff - I'm pretty sure I saw a slideshow somewhere, just have to find it again.

    I read somewhere too that if you can ear prick and squeeze the blood out onto you thumbnail you can collect it afterwards into the glococimeter. Makes it shorter because you don't have to swap up for the meter after the prick and you can keep ahold of kitty.

    I have a Flickr set that shows how I medicate my fractious kitties, I used Tugger for a model. If that's not good enough, I can have hubby shoot while I do Tugger's next test. We can do video too. If we really need a PITA cat to show I've been wanting to poke Bella's ear and I know she'll fight it so we can use her.

    i only got out of bed in the last 10 minutes so my brain is still asleep but there was someone who videotaped themselves paw testing their cat............i can't think of who...............maybe i can find it on youtube, hold on................oh geez! what an idiot i am, it was Raja.....here's the video I found on youtube

    All those cats in the videos were heavily drugged !!
    Or were not the least bit fractious. :smile:
