How many times do I check a day

    Nobody ever told me how many times a day or maybe once I did do the 1 time 2hours in morning before any food n then same at night n a midway test it was high on morning but she might have eaten but good afternoon n night. So do I do this every day

    You always test before shooting to make sure they're high enough for insulin at all and that "Pre-shot" test should be done when they haven't had any food for the last 2 hours.

    If at all possible, you should get a test somewhere mid-cycle on the AM cycle (like 5-7 hours after the morning shot) and at least a "before bed" test on the PM cycle. Most cats go lower at night, so that "before bed" test is important to make sure he's safe overnight while you're sleeping.

    Ok sometimes she may have eaten threw the night so not sure if it's so accurate. Mid shot she will have had food and evening again before her insulin dose also ok I guess I got it

    I was told to give her insulin while eating too
