Well, water bowel was pretty empty this morning. It made me check BG. She was at 78 fasting. I'm going to check in again at +1.

Are we still saying anything below 200 is okay for a "newbie"; although, I'm not sure Gracie is a newbie. It has been months since I've given her insulin though. :stop:

I'm going out of town in a few weeks. Bottle of Prozinc is almost 6 months old. I'm debating whether or not to get another bottle prior to leaving to have on hand for my sitter.

I wish Mia had not had insulin for months and was at 78. :)

No, Gracie is not a newbie. She needs to stay under 120. How long will you be gone? Unless it’s weeks, I wouldn’t suggest having a pet sitter resume insulin even if she was high for a day or two.

    I didn't update my +1 number. Let me do that right now . . . . . . .
    Ok, done. Just stable.

I'll be gone for about 3 nights, 4 days.

I'm not overly worried, but I got use to seeing 40's and 50's (yes, they weren't all like that . . . ) but they were in the lime.

    78 is a perfect number.

78 is still good. It's high for Gracie, but that could be for any reason...every now and then, numbers will fluctuate a bit. She might have seen a squirrel, or have just finished racing around the house, or need to poop (you never know!). In the end, it's just one number....not something I'd be overly concerned about.
