Home from vets with injectable pepcid. The instructions say to give 0.26ml SQ injection every 24 hours. I thought we dosed every 12 hours for this??? So, using my u100 syringes & carolyns info above....I should draw up 26 units of this to give him once a day? Or, should I draw up 13units & give twice per day instead? Strength is 10mg/ml.

    Hi Gwen

I would give as instructed. It is a once or twice a day drug; in my hospital we use it once a day, it is the preference of the prescribing doctor.

Thanks for the info Jess.....I will continue with the once per day.

It is nice to finally 'meet' you! Your name has been mentioned a couple times over in my LL condo's, but I wasn't sure exactly who you were until now!
