Insulin - Disregard Think I Found an Answer

    It depends upon the insulin. For the suspension insulins like N and Vetsulin/Caninsulin and ProZinc the syringes can be prefilled but you have to mix the filled syringe before use to re-suspend the particles. You do not want to store those with needle down since the particles can clog the needle. For Lantus and and think Levemir the manufacturer says not to prefill since the lubricant in the syringe reacts with the insulin.
