hi all! Well... her amps was 159 and +2 is 150. Not sure if it’s age to leave for a few hours? Advice? Should I wait an hour and retest in hopes she’s at a higher number than 159?

 

That's "about the same"......If you're only gone for a couple hours, I think you're fine but I'd like to see a +4 or +5 if you can get it today

If it's already about +3 now, go ahead and test now and let's see what's going on

 

She likely won’t start rising until +5-7.

+3 is 123. So.. I’ll be staying here and starting a curve I think. Can you tell me what to look for and expect in the simplest of terms? What’s good and what’s not good? I know I’m probably asking a lot but I get so very confused. For instance, until yesterday I always thought that insulin was primarily to bring the BG down. Now I know different.
