Hi Linda! That is quite a roller coaster ride there which is usually typical of N. It looks like one unit is clearly not enough but 3 units is too much. Maybe the 2 units will be more like it, but it looks like she has been on two units since March already though? How has she been doing up to this point?

I am sure this has already been suggested to you but have you considered trying Mandy on Lantus or Levemir? The curve is much more gentle and the chances of going into remission are much higher. I can't believe how much better Tigger feels on Levemir than he ever did on PZI.

Does your vet use Lantus at all in his practice?

Mandy was doing well on 5 units, .

Mandy had gotten all the way to 5units NPH.Then tuesday when this started. She was doing well.
Now we are at 2 units. See hon Now it goes
Vet and I talked about Lanutus , vet said since she was regulate before on N she felt like since Mandy responded to N she did not want to change. She said that if Mandy was a new diabetic she would go straight to Lantus and canned food. But Since Mandy has responded in the pass to canned food and N she wanted to stay here.
