Could use some guidance and help with proper dosage. When to dose, when not to and what BG numbers are normal versus not. Appreciate the information, knowledge and experience anyone may have. Thank you! Muffin had been receiving 0.25u up until this morning. When tested she was at 119 at 10:30am and would not eat so I didn't dose her. Since she's also dealing with a URI it's takes a bit for her to want food. I decided to test her again at 2:30 since she had eaten a little bit she was at 135. Her usual dosage times are 10:30am-10:30pm Lantus.

Normal numbers using a human glucometer run between 40-120 mg/dL off insulin.
We try to keep diabetics above 50 mg/dL when following Tight Regulation with Lantus and Levemir and above 90 mg/dL when using other insulins or the Start Low, Go Slow method.
