Mary Anne, is your ss up to date? The 2 blues I see are normal numbers. Are you giving 2 units or 4.5 as shown on your ss?.
 
I'm at the vet with Tigger. He seems fine but they're testing him. Thanks everyone for the support. I'm thinking now, in hindsight, that I should have skipped his dose entirely and let him go high?

Thank you for posting we are all so worried about you and Tigger.

I really wish you could have gotten better advice about what to shoot this morning. So hard to say with a DKA prone cat having a hypo.

I posted an update on Tigger on the Lantus board. He's fine..tested in the 60's/70's at the vet on my meter AND theirs :) He's acting totally fine..even when he was 27 he acted fine! Taking him back in a week for a curve. In the meantime, she suggested keeping him at the newly reduced dose of 2u for a week till the curve. She said its so tricky with diabetic cats...I think their guess is as good as anyone's on here! Its trickier when they've had DKA, that's why we want to avoid skipping shots. Hopefully he'll be back to his normal #'s tonight at PMPS! I guess I'll be about 2 hours off for that though :( Thanks everyone for all the wonderful support!!
