    Hi,

Savannah's legs seem to be improving (fingers and toes crossed that this continues). Although, I am wondering if it is possible to give her the vitamin B12 (methyl-something -or-other) without her being diagnosed with neuropathy? My thinking is since it's a vitamin what's the harm in trying?

    Any thoughts?

How do you give a capsule or pill? How much of it do you typically give?
    Thanks!

Methyl B12 is water soluble, so any excess is just peed out. So yes, try it!

Most of us give 3-5mg (3000-5000 mcg) per day. Because it's water soluble, you can dissolve it easily in a tsp of warm water, and mix with canned food.

Just please make sure it does not contain Xylitol - an artificial sweetener which is toxic to cats and dogs.

    Good luck!

this one that I recommended, is safe for cats - just open the capsule, and mix the powder into the food and add some water.

it's very simple, easy to use and has no discernible taste.
