New and computer stupid. My newly diagnosed cat will only eat dry food. I do not understand the dry food charts. Can anybody tell me what they feed?

Welcome to the forum. Being given a diagnosis of diabetes can be very overwhelming. If it is all possible to transition your kitty to wet food that would be much better. However some kitties are die hard dry food addicts. There are a few members who use dry foods that are not as high in carbohydrates as some of the others.

If you want to go to the Feline Health forum which is here:

    http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/forums/feline-health-the-main-forum.28/

you can start a new post and put something like "Newly diagnosed need help with dry food selection" in the title bar, you will get more responses from people who do use dry food. The Health forum gets more attention for health and diet related issues.

If you're in the US, Young Again 0 Carb and Evo Cat and Kitten are 2 lower carb dry foods which may be used.
