New here

I am new to this board. My 14 year old female Alexandra was diagnosed at the end of August and unfortunately it is proving to be a struggle getting her regulated. I am at the point where she has to get fluids daily and where the vet thinks her quality of life isn't great and is recommending euthanizing her. I am not there yet but am starting to think I am nuts. I am hoping I can find something on this board that will give me hope for my little princess.

 

Welcome! I am sorry you are having a rough time of it. Let us know what insulin Alexandra is on and at what dose and whether you are home testing or not. Also, what does she eat?
