My cat has been on BCP PZI Bovine insulin fir 4 yrs. Currently 3units 2x day. Just started home testing with Reliin Micro. Four days of testing = 78, 237, 107 and 91. Is he perhaps no longer diabetic? Should I stop insulin? Did not give to him today.

Are these all preshots without insulin? Is this a human or pet meter.

Was the 237 without insulin? Did the cat eat within 2 hours of that number?

He did eat within 2 hours of the 237. I had his food on a timer and he did not notice it was available until much later then normal.

I did not give him his insulin this morning with his reading of 91. This afternoon the reading was 99.

It would help if you had a spreadsheet. Normal bg is 50-120 if using a human meter. so it looks like your cat might still need insulin.

The 911 is for emergencies. For dosing help it’s best to use the ?

Ok then that number is probably elevated from food. Looks like he's aiming for remission!!! Every morning with no food for at least two hours take a reading. If he goes two weeks with numbers in the normal range he's considered to be in remission! Good luck
