Hi Guys..quick question before I have to get my tooshie back to work...
I have been wondering what a "normal bg range" is on a non-diabetic cat or a cat that is OTJ. I am under the impression that "Normal" may range from 50 to 120, depending on the kitty. I have tested my non-diabetic and he is usually somewhere between 50 and 65. My vet thinks 120 is a wonderful number w/o insulin.
The reason for this question is that I'm wondering if Spot is just a kitty that has higher numbers normally. He is on an OTJ trial, today is day 11. He is running from 85 to 120 on most days...sometimes it's higher, but usually for a reason (puking, stress, eating to close to test time).
    Thanks for your input!!

50 to 120 is a good "normal" BG. Frequently stress will raise the BG to greater than 120. Looking at Spot's spreadsheet, I would continue to not give insulin.
