OTJ 3 weeks! On Humulin!

My Ziggy has gone 3 weeks without insulin. We were using Humulin. He was diagnosed in early July and I wasn't expecting him to go OTJ. Just hoped for getting him regulated. I'm ecstatic!

Thanks to information I got here and on the facebook support page, twelve weeks ago I switched his and the other 3 cats diet to Young Again Zero Carb dry food and Fancy Feast pates. Treats are now freeze dried chicken or turkey. All four cats eat the dry and canned foods and have learned to love the freeze dried treats.

Thanks to Kimber Bush for her guidance on dosing with Humulin, and Ruth Bradshaw Hersey for convincing me I can indeed home test. If not for them Ziggy and I would still be going to the vet and he'd be on too high a dose of Humulin.
