Just wanted to let everyone here know that our 14yo kitty is now regulated and actually has come off of insulin after 4 mos of treatment. She was actually regulated after 3 mos but we continued to monitor and taper the insulin off slowly for another month before stopping it completely. She has been completely off of insulin now for several weeks and still doing great. The biggest credit I give to this miracle is 1) our diligence and research, 2) the support and education by members of this site, 3) the transition to Authority canned food from dry food, and 4) the careful and conservative use of Prozinc insulin with tight regulation. Thanks to God for giving us a little more time with her and restoring her to health. Best of luck to all those still supporting their cats' transition to insulin-free living!!

That is great news. You have done a wonderful job caring for her.

However, you should edit the title to remove the "GA". That means "Gone ahead" and is used when a kitty has passed away.
