Cosmo's appetite has seemed to decrease again. I'm wondering what kind of Parmesan cheese to get. The fresh grated is the powder in the sprinkle jar?

His BG was 163 before breakfast. 2.5 hrs later it's 154.

I'm going to Walmart to get more test strips, strips to test for keystones and of course Parmesan.

You can try that type of Parmesan. I don't think kitties insist on freshly grated from a chunk of Parmesan Reggiano. ;)

No insulin yet, right? I think he'll need a little soon.

As long as the Parmesan is strong-smelling, any kind will do. It's the aroma that tempts a kitty to eat, not, as Kris says, what form it takes or what kind of up-market deli it comes from! Good luck.

I bought the regular powder stuff. I wasn't sure if there one that wasn't good for them. I'm going to start him on insulin soon. As soon as I posted about his appetite, he started eating again. I did put fortiflora on it this morning and he ate it a lot better.
