I found the brand Paws canned cat food. Classic dinner in chicken, beef, and fish flavors. Does anyone know if it's appropriate for diabetics ? It says compare to fancy feast brand. It's a product of Canada. It's not on the food lists nor is info on their website.

I've seen one at HyVee stores with that name.....the ingredients do seem to be pretty much the same as FF so I don't know why it would be different carb-wise

I have used Paws canned cat food. My cats loved it. I sent an email to the company to ask about carb count and they very promptly responded! If I remember correctly the carb count is under 6%. Do read the labels carefully as some of the canned food has rice and other grains, peas or carrots. I have switched to Friskies Pate for cost savings. I was giving a mix of Friskies, Fancy Feast and Paws when Harley initially diagnosed.
