Maybe someone can explain this to me. Why would a food that is 7% carb not spike a cat's glucose but a cat food that is 2% carb does? I fed Pooper's Turkey and Giblets FF classic with 7% carb and I didn't see it spike his glucose up but dropped it when his pancreas was working. Now I wanted to try him something different since all he was eating was Turkey and Giblets. I seen they came out with a True Nature Chicken and Liver Entree grain free and according to the food calculator it only has 2% carbs. Yet, this food doesn't seem to be lowering his glucose when he eats +1 or +2 after he eats. So how come a higher end carb food doesn't spike his glucose but a lower end carb cat food does?
