about how much percentage of protein, carbs, phosphorus, and calories should a diabetic cat need? why I'm asking is because my vet said I need a full diabetic diet for my cat...and she gave me Hills Prescription w/d and from what I think it has a higher percentage wise than 10% or lower of carbs, on the bag itself it says crude protein minimum 34% , I don't know about the carbs or the phosphorus level, the calories it says 280 a cup, I have been looking for the phosphorus level and carbs, but I don't see anything about that, even on their own website...and from everything I'm reading it is saying a high protein, low carb, no grain diet for cat's w/ diabetes and even on the bag it has stuff like brewers rice, corn gluten meal, wheat gluten, whole grain corn, whole grain wheat, soybean oil, and stuff like that, which I'm not sure if that is good for a cat w/ diabetes...from what I read it all says no...so I would like to know if this is okay? or I should try something else? and if anybody has any suggestions on food if this isn't good for my cat.

I just read your intro in the welcome forum. We highly recommend a wet, low carb, high protein diet for any cat but especially a diabetic. If you can’t get him to eat the wet, there are a couple of good dry foods. One is Young Again Zero and is available online, the other is Dr Elsys and can be found, online and (I think) at Chewys.
This is a great article on feline nutrition that might answer your question

Unless your cat and kidney problems, ther eis no need to be concerned with phosphorous content
The 34% is the minimum weight percent of crude protein. The 10% or less carbs you are refering to is the % of calories from carbs
Here is a listing of canned food. You can sort it by carbs and other attributes
