    Hello!

Buster has had puddingpoo for almost a week now. I called the vet and was told to bring in a stool sample. Does anyone have any suggestions for home/over the counter remedies? It's $60 to have his poo looked at.

On a brighter note the vet also said I can cut his insulin in half since his BGLs are down! My baby is getting better!

Thanks in advance for the advice! confused_cat

We had that problem with the switch to wet food. Someone else will have to advise on whether or not you need to have him checked, but adding a probiotic to his food helped. I believe Fortiflora is a popular brand.

This is potentially an IBD question.

Do you have a profile that you could post. I'm sorry I'm not familiar with your kitty.

There are many things that can cause diarrhea. Also you may want to post in the NON-diabetes health forum as diarrhea is not a DM problem.

As much info about your kitty and what you feed can help.
