Question about the needle 40u

    I have the 40 u needle....it goes up to 40 units...the first thing is 5..that is 5 units.right? and I want 1 unit so it looks to be the very first line which only seems like a smidge. I used u100s before..and have them on order. Am I figuring this right. I feel like a tart.

    I wish I could help but I have no knowledge on PZI.

    There is a sticky that is full of all sorts of info, including a conversion chart for u40 syringes.

    Hopefully others will be along with more useful help for you.

    Yes, the first little hash mark is 1u on that syringe. The "5" indicates 5 units.

    Smart move!!!! The syringes can be really confusing IMO and with such small doses, misreading the lines could be a real problem! I love it when people check first to be sure (although in this case I couldn't remember the U40 syringes to help, but thankfully Kelly was here! :D ).
