Hi again. How many days of testing at 4x's per day to make an assessment looking at spreadsheet whether or not to increase insulin? My Sassy has been on Lantus 2 times per day, 12 hours apart since 3/6/2020 and I just began testing 6/15/2020. I plan to continue testing.
Thank you:cat::). This forum is very educational and I feel better being informed. I wish my vet would have given me half as much info this forum has.

Your spreadsheet privacy needs to change. We can't see it. You need to change it to "Anybody with the link can view".

Have you decided on a dosing method? Tight Regulation or Start Low, Go Slow?

I have read TR and SLGS. I am now working from home and can test as often as needed. Would you recommend one over the other? She is not happy about testing, (who would be), but I have gotten the hang of it. I have been feeding Sassy wet food FF Naturals for past 3 months. Before the FF, it was Friskies. She has not had dry food for four months (even then only 1/4 cup midday) She has a very good appetite. Last week I posted she was ravenous, but she has simmered down and paces herself while eating. I feed one can at 8:00 am and I give shot while eating, 1/2 FF can midday, and 1 can FF at 5:30 pm and shot at 8:00 pm.

TR gives a better chance at remission because you can adjust the dose as often as every 3 days instead of waiting a week. It takes a little more testing though.

At the least, you need to test before every shot and at least 1 mid-cycle test (5-7 hours after the shot) and at least a "before bed" test on the PM cycle. Most cats go lower at night so getting a test on the PM cycle is just as important (if not more so) than testing on the AM cycle.

The more tests you get in, the better you're going to understand how she's responding to insulin. You don't have to test every hour or anything, but if you're home, get tests sprinkled around at different points in the cycle. If you think of your spreadsheet like it's a puzzle, if you have pieces sprinkled all over, it's easier to see what the picture is. If you only have pieces on one side, you don't have any idea what's going on in the other half of the picture (and that could be the important half!)
