I was doing research and see that pancreatitis can cause diabetes in cats. My vet mentioned that a lot of cats with diabetes also can have pancreatitis. Does this mean that if the pancreatitis goes away then the diabetes could too? Are their other conditions that can cause high glucose other than diabetes?

This is another ECID thing. My Max had chronic pancreatitis for several years which likely led to his diabetes. He never went into remission but was tightly controlled. Some cats get acute pancreatitis and once it goes away never returns.
