Rabies vaccination for Sammie

    Sammie is due for his rabies vaccination, and there are so many conflicting views, I'm not sure what to do. I've talked to 3 local vets and they all say rabies shot is fine for a diabetic cat. I used to do Leukemia and distemper, too, but, I'll definitely skip those for him. My state does require the rabies. Please advise-he has an appointment tomorrow.

    I was in the same position, but my vet assured me it would be safe. She started him on insulin and gave the rabies shot last Friday, and I've seen no ill effects. My buddy is Sammy, too!

    All my cats get the Rabies and the combo distemper shots

    My guy gets the rabies shot too. He tolerates it with no problem.
