This is just something I was wondering about. I know the Relion Confirm requires only a small sample of blood, but when I get a reading from a small sample sometimes I worry about whether it was enough blood to get a valid result. Should I assume that the result is valid as long as it looks like the entire sample window turns red and the reading isn't out of the ordinary?

Yes, that is what I assume

I tend to worry if I get a reading that I wasn't expecting but my FreeStyle Lite meter usually gives an error if the sample size was too small. Did your Relion Confirm come with an instruction book? If so, it may describe what would happen if the sample size was too small to get an adequate reading.

Relion Confirm will give you an error if it's not enough blood.
