I have had my Relion Confirm give me some wonky readings if I don't get a big enough sample (it wants a bigger blood drop than they tell you in the packaging!). I just retest and if I'm in doubt, I'll test the other ear, as well and go with the two readings that are closest to each other. I hate to burn through test strips like that, but I always want my guy to stay safe.

Both those numbers are within the 20% variable rate that the FDA allows

    428 - 20% = 342
    360 + 20% = 432

All meters are allowed by the FDA to give results that are 20% off from values you'd get with professional lab equipment, so anytime you test, the number you get could be 20% higher to 20% lower

So a 428 could be anything between 342 and 516

    And a 360 could be anything between a 288 and 432

So since both 360 and 428 could both be +/- 20%, both numbers could be correct
