Rx Vitamins Liquid Hepato: has fructose in the ingredients. Suitable for diabetic?

    It says it's for dogs but it's fine for cats too.

    I was prescribed this by my vet because Ming is on prednisolone long term (1.25 mg twice a day). And she just wants to make sure his liver is okay. Blood test showed liver was "okay" with slightly elevated ALP.

    I'm just concerned about the fructose.

    And I do plan to explore alternatives regarding his chronic pancreatitis and steroid intake. For now, we're doing this and it's working okay but it's not forever (hopefully).

    It will tend to raise the BG/increase insulin needs a little.
