Simba OTJ trial Day 3 BG 100 :(

    Excellent! Good number for +3. Shows his body is producing insulin on it's own and enough insulin to process the food. Otherwise, we would have seen a spike in the BG level at +3.

    No need for sad face!! Remember, all meters are allowed a 20% variance so that 100 could be lower anyway!

    And we expect OTJ trial kitties to occasionally give a blue number but as long as it comes down a few hours later, that's great!

    I've been keeping my eye on you since you moved over here from Facebook and I'm so thrilled for you!!

    I just saw that you are posting over on the Lantus/Levimir forum for the OTJ trial as well as here. Your choice if you want to continue to do both, or continue on only the Main Health forum.

    p.s. Replied on your post over in Lantus/levimir with your suggested changes to the OTJ trial instructions. We don't get many people that come to the Main Health forum and so quickly need to start an OTJ trial.

    Let me know if those changes look good to you.
