Our 15 year old cat was diagnosed as diabetic on 10/2, put on insulin and after a little more than 3 weeks taken back off as his levels were now good. Gradually stopped all dry food and switched to Fancy Feast Classic wet, which at first he loved. Lost some weight too, a plus as he was getting heavy. However now he is not eating much and back to puking occasionally. He was like that when on FF before, and seemed much better when we had switched him to Blue Wilderness. Have been trying to find out carb content of Blue as apart from diabetic episode he definitely did better on their grain free foods. Perhaps I can put him back on that as long as we don't give any dry food. Thoughts anyone?

Check out the food list at Cat Info - its in the right hand column. It lists a number of Us foods, and the percent of calories from protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Your preferred food may be on there.
Anything with under 10% calories from carbohydrates (column 3) can be used.[/url]
