Test, Feed, Shoot timing question?

    Sam has been getting his PM shot at 6:30. He is hungry early tonight and being quite vocal about wanting dinner. Is it okay to test and feed early and then shoot at the regular time?

    Maybe give him a tiny snack? It's better if your dose is given to match your test.

    Sigh. Fur shot. My first one. Didn't end up mattering anyway :-(

    Darn. We ALL have done that - even people who have been shooting for years. You'll get him back on track.

    I wonder if he got at least some of it? His number this morning was really good.

    He may have. That's the reason why there is a rule not to give insulin again if you muck up the injection: there is no way of determining how much of the dose the cat may have received.
