This is Zack

Hi all,
My Zack is about 2 weeks into the Lantus regimen, so far so good. My name is Anna, and though I'm a retired nurse, when it comes to my Zack, I get stupid very quickly! (All of the info I do know, even about diabetic cats, suddenly goes away because I get emotional.) I'm trying really hard to keep this in check, and I think it's getting better. I don't know what else to say except that we are slowly increasing the insulin but BG's seem to stay in the 400's. I'm really glad all of you are here for resources, so thank you in advance.

Thanks everyone. I'm sorry it's been over a week since I've been back, but it's been hectic at my house. Yes, I am checking his blood sugar at home, according to my vet's instructions. I will move to the Main Health forum for more.
