I am having a hard fought struggle with my sugar baby on adjusting his diet. He is testing every ounce of patience that I have. And along with the struggle of changing his diet comes the struggle of what amount of insulin to give him. I have started testing as often as I can to try and figure out how he is reacting to his insulin and I have been seeing how the different foods affect his BG level. Its just frustrating how he has been trending with a high BG in the morning but low at night to where I am scared to give him his shot. I just don't know what to do. I feel like I am not doing something right. Any advice would be appreciated.

What type of insulin are you using? How far along are you with the diet change to low carb wet food?

Sid's SS says ProZinc insulin. The Notes on the SS also says what food Sid is eating.
That means that the dose should be reduced. However, the Notes on the SS indicates that Sid is not eating consistently. Without consistent eating BG will vary and it makes controlling BG very difficult.

That is what I thought. I don't know why he is such a stinker but he is so wishy washy on the new food, one day he likes it one day he wont eat it at all. I just dont know what to do.
I have tried every trick they say to try on the transfering from dry food tips and tricks.
