Tolerance to vetsulin??

I'm so frustrated, no matter what I try I can't get his numbers down. It's like the insulin barely has any effect. His bladder is bigger than mine and so messy to clean up.

 

You likely haven’t achieved his current good dose range. Also, he might have some glucose toxicity built up from being high for a while. It makes his body less responsive to the insulin. Steady dose increases of 0.25 u after 4 cycles or so will break through that. You’d then slow the rate of increase when you see mid cycle blues.

I’d also recommend keeping the same dose AM and PM unless he surprises you with a PS below 200. Maybe try 1.5 u for 4 cycles - both AM and PM. Post here for help.
