    Hi, everyone!

I wanted to share that my cat, Tommy, is officially in remission! He is 5.5 years old, and was diagnosed with diabetes early last year. I can't believe it!

I plan to closely monitor him, as I know he could regress. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Jenna

Congrats Tommy and mom, that is awesome :cat:

sounds like you have already given yourself the best advice with planning to still monitor him :)
personally, when my tux goes into remission, i plan on still checking his BG at least once a week and feeding him the same low carb foods...and for his sake, no longer bringing in any more feral/rescued cats so he doesn't catch anything and stays stress free...not much else we can do, i don't think.
