My crew will bring the music book. That is a sacred item in my house. A friend that works for the DNR grows excellent nip. I place the leaves between the pages of the music book to dry.

It's a special occasion when the music book comes out. One whiff, that's all you need to think happy thoughts for a long time. Some of the nip in the music book is over 13 years old, (possibly 20+ years, idr). It still makes everyone happy with one sniff.

Yo Kitties, China has a fantastic party planned. She says to get to her house by 11 a.m. so we can get our eclipse glasses and make pinhole shields to view the eclipse without having to look directly at the sun. After the sun reemerges, we'll have party fuds and go to the lake to picnic, swim, and ride jetskis. This will be some party. At 1 :13 p.m. we'll sing a hymn to the sun.
Thanks to all who plan to bring favorite fuds. Lots of special nip, I hear.

Appetizers: Sunspot Microbrews; Suntinis; Black Hole Mojitos; Sunfish Sushi; Roostercrow Wings; Chicken Little Feet. Sunshine Pizzas.
Entrees: Sunrise Chili with the Chef's Special Sauce; Pulled Pork Barbeque with Sun- dried Tomatoes; Dark of the Moon Mousehead Stew; Solar Hot Dogs and Burgers with The Works.
Salads: Sunslaw; Marinated Sundews.
