Hi thank you for creating this site! Our 16+yo male was just diagnosed this week. Tonight will be his first dose. Tru has used all of his 9 lives and is working his way through the other cats' lives. He's been shot, hit by a car, had heat stroke, had allergic reaction to flea meds, has escaped the jaws of a coyote, has been lanced and drained for playing with his food too long more times than I care to recall, has asthma, and is now diabetic. He shares his home with Molly a 16+yo female, Pandemonium (Panda) a 1yo female, Quip 6yo Mastiff female, Ezzy 3yo Lab/husky female, 3 humans ( George, Wendy, and Caitlyn), and a stray male whom we are trying to find a home.

The youngest human goes off to college soon and the male human works out of town for long periods of time so, I will be chief cook, bottle washer, and insulin monitor and I will appreciate all of your insight!

Wow! That's a lot to go through in 1 life.

If you add a few of those tidbits to your signature, it will help us give you feedback.

    Editing your Signature

In the upper right corner of the screen, within the dark blue bar, you will see ID, Inbox, and Alerts

    Click on your ID.

On the left, under Settings, Click on Signature.
This is where you will put information that helps us give you feedback. You are limited to 2 hard returns, so separate pieces by | or -.
This is where you paste the link for your spreadsheet, once it is set up.
Add any other text, such as your name | cat's name | date of Dx (diagnosis) | insulin | meter general location (city and state/province) any other pertinent issues like if there are any food issues, history of DKA, hepatic lipidosis, pancreatitis, allergies, IBD, etc.

Click the Save Changes button at the bottom.

Hi and welcome to you and Truman. Wow Truman has been through it and you have got your hands full, but you've come to the right place! The Health Forum is the place to ask any questions you have or for more specific advise on dosing, the ProZinc forum.
