Tuesdays suck...in a good way

I decided to clean my work laptop before taking it in today. When I turned on the vacuum to clean the keyboard, everyone scattered...except one...Grandpa.

I know what they say about curiosity and the cat. I think it and pure personality keep this one alive.

Yes, the vacuum is running in these pics. I thought he was risking his whiskers.

Mitsy is not afraid of the vacuum either. She also loves to watch thunderstorms. Bitsy, however, hates the vacuum!

My ma had a cat who was just fantastically odd in so many ways. She had a weird meow and LOVED dogs. She would play with my sister's husky and be happy and drenched in doggy drool afterwards. She also loved the the vacuum, so my ma would bathe her and help her dry by vacuuming her. Ha, she loved it! Does Grandpa let you "brush" him with the vacuum or is he just curious about it?

Your ma's cat sounds perfect! Odd is good. Today was the first time I've seen Grandpa around the vacuum. I fully expected him to at least back away. I didn't know what to do when he walked up and put his nose to the end while it was running. He has no fear. Every day we learn something new about him.
