I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with herpesvirus or other types of respiratory viruses that tend to flare up during times of stress. Looks like we are getting the sniffles and I am curious as to how much this impacts BGs.

If your cat isn't feeling well it could raise the glucose levels a little bit. the important thing is you want to make sure that your cat does continue to eat. One thing that I give my cat's when any of them start to come down with any type of respiratory symptoms is l-lysine. Respiratory problems can be very contagious so you want to give it to all of your cat's if you have more than one. This helps boost the immune system and hopefully we'll keep the other cats from becoming ill.

    Thank you!
He ate his normal amount today, so we are good on that front.

We keep that stuff stocked like EOTW preppers.

Yes, it happened to mycancer kitty and to my sugar kitty Max too. The latest is l-lysine doesn’t do anything. I used 1/3 a Zyrtec twice a day.
